Computer Touchscreen technology used in the newest James Bond thriller is finding its way into everyday computing.
One of the coolest tech gadgets used in the newest Bond movie Quantum of Solace wasn't a knife packing shoe, or a diving Lotus automobile. The real eye catcher was the computer system used in the make believe MI6 headquarters that used touchscreens to send files bouncing back and forth across multiple screens and with the twitch of a finger expanded and minimized photos and data. But this Technology isn't as far off as one might think, in fact it is becoming quite advanced in real world applications.

With the U.S. release of the 22nd James Bond movie “Quantum of Solace,” the city of Bregenz in the westernmost province of Austria is buzzing with Hollywood glamour. No wonder, since several scenes were shot on the floating stage of the annual Bregenz Festival – an event that attracts international crowds for its stunning location and high-quality performances. Unusual and spectacular venues are a key ingredient of James Bond movies and the floating stage of the Bregenz Festival is just that. “This is so Bond,” said Callum McDougall, the films executive producer, when he first saw the location. “The Tosca stage set with its gigantic blue eye fits in perfectly with the storyline of the new Bond movie," said Director Marc Forster earlier last year. The shoot required that a complete performance of Tosca be staged, which included more than 1,500 soloists and extras, orchestra, chorus members, and technicians. To experience Bregenz’s smart and stylish art and architecture yourself, go to www.austria.info/art for more information.

Not everyone can pull off a handkerchief. Only pimps from the 70's and really really rich guys. Well both of those also usally have lot's of enemies. So this is a welcome addition to their wardrobe. A Bulletproof Handkerchief.
Made from military-grade kevlar, this little square will not provide as much protection as a full vest, but hey, when style and fashion are as important as your life, this works I guess.

Gemma Arterton, the statuesque stunner who plays Agent Fields in next month's Quantum of Solace, has proven herself to be exceptional not only for her English Rose beauty, but also because she was born with six fingers on each hand.
