IGN has posted exclusive info on the new Bond film Quantum of Solace. A good read and helps bulid anticipation for the upcoming film. Give it a read...
May 9, 2008 - "The way we finished up in Casino Royale was with a man who'd lost something that was taken away from him. The woman that he loved killed herself because he thought she was guilty because she was double-crossing him. And he never had the chance to go: 'Why?'," Daniel Craig explains during a roundtable interview on the Austrian set of the forthcoming James Bond film, Quantum of Solace. "That's where we start the story and he's looking for that quantum of solace. He's looking for that little bit, but he can't be open about it because it's a sign of weakness. It gets very complicated but then [the title] also ties in to who the bad guys are."

ROME - The car being used in the latest James Bond film plunged into a lake in northern Italy while being driven to the set.
Producers say the driver of the Aston Martin was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. They say James Bond's iconic car was being delivered to the filming unit in heavy rain on Saturday morning when it went off the road and plunged into Lake Garda.
Italian state TV has shown footage of the smashed, black car being hoisted out of the water.
"Quantum of Solace" is the newest film in the 007 series. It stars Daniel Craig and is due for release later this year.

Check out this article from Yahoo! News. Some good info about the new Bond flick...
ANTOFAGASTA, Chile - After getting the bad end of his own ax in a fight, a bloodied villain limps alone in a stark desert. Mathieu Amalric stumbles to the red, rocky ground. "CUT!" rings loudly from the set of the 22nd James Bond film.
Picking up an hour after "Casino Royale" left off, "Quantum of Solace" is the spy franchise's first direct sequel. Filming began in January and has taken the crew from Britain to Panama to this moonlike landscape in northern Chile, which is standing in for Bolivia.
It's a place that director Marc Forster said evokes Bond's "isolation and loneliness."
"He is an assassin, he is a secret agent, and that reflects a certain lifestyle, which is lonely," said Forster.
Indeed, the big news on the set is that one of the two Bond girls, Olga Kurylenko, doesn't get in even a single kiss with star Daniel Craig. ("Why would I be disappointed?" Kurylenko insisted. "I'm just doing my work.")
The question is: Do audiences want an emo Bond?
